I was sacred she will recoil but I’m glad she didn’t, so happy to see her handle the conversation well and not just go mute.

I can’t entirely blame her Big Sis.

I was scared she will too but she didn't.

And Sister Bimpe is right.

Facing her father is going to be a lot but I know she will do well… love this.

The Smart Seide's avatar

It will. Let's see how it goes.

Seun that guy ehnnnn.....well he's 17

Sister Bimpe,na wa for you oh. I hate when people jumps to conclusions...like you could have asked questions buh no oh,you preferred jumping. Blaming someone for what you think is right and true. Not even giving them the benefit of doubt.

And wetin do bro odunlade?

I'm glad Oro now speaks up 🤭🤭🤭

I'm so happy 😊

Seun is 17 in Chapter 17. 🤣🤣🤣

Sister Bimpe is maddddd and that's fine. She must have gone through so many stages of beliefs and thoughts about what could have made Ọrọ ghost her own family. She got fed up and rage was the best way to her.

Finally, someone notices there's an Odunlade.

We don't know oh.

I am glad she now speaks up too. It's been a long way coming.

Imagine, having a front row seat to the stress of taking care of a sick relative, bearing the financial burden, being the bigger person for the family.

And someone somewhere is not communicating, when you reach out, they don't respond and now you have an opportunity to tell them what you feel.

Her sister's points are very valid.

You don't push people away and expect them to hug you in the same breath.

The Smart Seide's avatar

Yes.

Bimpe was right to feel how she felt.

Ọrọ is human and she's learning.

She has been living in her own bubble and is just stepping out of it.

You sound like you've been in Sister Bimpe’s shoes.

I'm glad that Oro found her voice before going home. Let's just pray that her new found voice is strong enough to withdraw the chaos that is home.

The Smart Seide's avatar

Thank God she didn't withdraw due to the overwhelming situation.

Oro's siblings are really annoying.

Gosh!!!

The Smart Seide's avatar

Are they?

To Ọrọ, they are.

But they really aren't.

Their feelings are valid.

Toluwani's avatar

Hmmmmm.

Really?

Toluwani's avatar

But that conversation was needed.

And Oro spoke up for herself. I'm so proud of her 😭

Oro is growing, I'm soooo proud

Proud Mom moments here.

I honestly think her siblings' reactions are a reiteration that humans tend to judge what they don't understand, maybe because assumptions and judgement seem easier than having difficult conversations.

I can't fault her elder sister entirely.

And Seun is being juvenile😂😭...

Anyway, strength for Oro as she faces her father💪🏾

Mautinnnnnn is a darlingg btw.

The Smart Seide's avatar

I'd say they all had varying experiences in that home and nobody knows what the other experienced.

No two kids in a home experience the home the same way. Every child experiences the parents, siblings and home differently.

The father that fathered Ọrọ isn't the same father that fathered Bimpe. Despite the fact that it is the same man.

All of them are right to feel how they feel.

Yes, Mautin is a darling.
